Beautiful vs. Charming

The ill-informed may state that there is no difference between beauty and charm, but this statement scarcely deserves to be true. It doesn't mean that the former can't interact with the latter in one single unity and vice versa but the two notions – beauty (handsomeness) and charm.

Imagine the situation. All the women's attention at a Christmas party is concentrated at a guy who if looked at doesn't evoke any inspiring sensations or emotions: average-looking, average clothes, average look and equally average shape. While some of the rest men are much better-looking and physically fit than the one who attracts all the women's attention.

So what is this charmer's secret? His perfect shape spiced up with perfect sixpack in the abdominals area and a few extra muscles here there everywhere? His big blue eyes accompanied with blue-teethed Hollywood smile? Not at all! It's all about the man's magnetism, his charm followed by sense of humour and wicked sparkle in his not too attractive (at first sight) look – these are the things that drive all the women around him crazy.
